Countesses Cake

A soft and fluffy orange cake with a balanced orange flavor.


Ingredients

  • 300 g butter

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 4 eggs

  • vanilla

  • 1 cup milk powder

  • 2 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • 2 cups flour

  • 1 cup orange juice

  • 1 tbsp orange zest


Method

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F.

  • Beat the butter and sugar until creamy.

  • Slowly add the eggs.

  • Add the vanilla and milk powder. Mix until combined.

  • Slowly add the flour and baking powder.

  • Mix in the orange zest and juice.

  • Add the prepared batter in a buttered bundt pan.

  • Bake for 40-45 min.
