Pistachio Shortbread
Aromatic melt-in-your-mouth shortbread that combines the rich, buttery texture of traditional shortbread with the distinct flavors of pistachios and cardamom.
Ingredients
200g butter
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 cup ground pistachio
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp cardamom
Method
Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F.
Combine the butter and powdered sugar.
Add the ground pistachios.
Add the dry ingredients.
Bake for 15 minutes.
Allow to cool completely before serving with a dust of powdered sugar.
