Pistachio Shortbread

Aromatic melt-in-your-mouth shortbread that combines the rich, buttery texture of traditional shortbread with the distinct flavors of pistachios and cardamom.


Ingredients

  • 200g butter

  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar

  • 1 cup ground pistachio

  • 2 1/2 cups flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1/4 tsp cardamom


Method

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F.

  • Combine the butter and powdered sugar.

  • Add the ground pistachios.

  • Add the dry ingredients.

  • Bake for 15 minutes.

  • Allow to cool completely before serving with a dust of powdered sugar.
