Muhalabiya

Fast and easy milk pudding inspired by @yozagourmet

Ingredients

  • 4 cups milk

  • 7 tbsp corn flour

  • 1/3 cup sugar

  • 1 can cream

  • 1 tbsp rose water

  • 1/2 tsp orange blossom water

  • Crumble:

    1 cup chopped almond

    1/2 cup sugar

  • Cotton Candy


Method

  • Whisk the milk and cornstarch in a pan.

  • Turn on the heat and whisk until thickened.

  • Add the cream, rose water, and orange blossom water.

  • Pour into ramekins, cover, and refrigerate.

  • Prepare the crumble by placing the sugar over low heat until it melts and caramlizes.

  • Pour the chopped almonds into the pan and combine.

  • Place the mixture on a baking sheet and allow to cool. Chop it.

  • Serve with the crumble and cotton candy.
