Custard Rice Pudding
Ingredients
1/2 cup Egyptian/Arborio rice
3 1/2 cups milk
vanilla
2 egg yolks
1/2 cup cream
1/3 cup sugar
cinnamon, for serving
Method
Thoroughly rinse the rice.
In a saucepan, add the rice, milk, and vanilla. Allow to boil.
Cook on low for 15-20 minutes.
In a bowl, mix the egg yolks, sugar, and cream. Strain the mixture.
Stream into the saucepan while mixing.
Cook on low for 5 minutes.
Serve warm with a sprinkle of cinnamon.
