Carrot Halwa
Ingredients
500 g grated carrots
2 1/2 cups whole milk
2 tbsp ghee
3 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp condensed milk
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
3 tbsp sliced almonds
vanilla ice cream, to serve
Method
In a saucepan, add the carrots and cook until slightly dry.
Add the milk and cook on low for 15 minutes stirring constantly.
Add the ghee, sugar, condensed milk, and cardamom powder. Cook on low for 15 minutes stirring constantly.
Fold in the almonds.
Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream.
