Butter Cake


Ingredients

Cake

  • 100 g butter, melted

  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 1 egg

  • vanilla

  • 1 1/4 cup flour

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1/4 tsp salt

Cream

  • 150 g cream cheese

  • 1 egg

  • vanilla

  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar


Method

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F. Grease a 9” springform pan with butter.

  • In a bowl, whisk the butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla.

  • Add the flour, baking powder, and salt.

  • Spread the mixture on the springform pan using a spatula.

  • In another bowl, whisk the cream cheese, egg, and vanilla.

  • Whisk in the powdered sugar in three intervals.

  • Pour the cream mixture on top of the cake mixture.

  • Bake for 35-40 minutes.
