Sand Cake
The cake is distinguished by its rich and delicious flavor thanks to the blend of simple ingredients. It is usually served with coffee or tea and is suitable for all occasions due to its simplicity and taste.
Ingredients
1 pot (170 g) yogurt
2 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup oil
vanilla
1 cup flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp semolina
1/3 cup condensed milk
Method
Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F. Line a 9 in square pan with baking paper.
In a bowl, whisk the yogurt, oil, sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
Add in the flour and baking powder.
Pour in the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
In a pan, lightly toast the semolina.
Once the cake comes out of the oven, pour the condensed milk and sprinkle the toasted semolina all over the cake.
