Pina Colada Trifle

This Piña Colada Trifle is a refreshing and delightful dessert that combines the flavors of a Piña Colada with layers of cake, pineapples, cream, and coconut.


Ingredients

  • vanilla pound cake, sliced

  • 2 cans pineapples

  • 1/2 cup condensed milk

  • 125 g cream cheese

  • 1 cup shredded sweetened coconut

  • 1 1/2 cups whipping cream


Method

  • In a dish, place the sliced vanilla pound cake.

  • Soak the cake with pineapple juice from 1 can of pineapples. Set aside.

  • In a food processor, add 1 drained can of pineapples, condensed milk, cream cheese, and 1/2 cup of coconut.

  • Spread 3/4 of the mixture over the soaked cake. Set the rest of the mixture aside.

  • Drain and chop the other can of pineapples.

  • Top the cream cheese mixture on the cake with 1/4 cup of coconut and half of the chopped pineapples.

  • In a bowl, whip the whipping cream until stiff peaks form.

  • Fold in the reserved cream cheese mixture.

  • Spread the whipped cream mixture over the layer of coconut and pineapples.

  • Top with the remaining coconut and the other half of the chopped pineapples.
