Matcha Blondies

Rich white chocolate blondies with a delicate green tea flavor.


Ingredients

  • 130 g butter, browned

  • 130 g white chocolate, chopped

  • 200 g sugar

  • 50 g brown sugar

  • 4 eggs

  • vanilla

  • 110 g flour

  • 3 tbsp matcha powder

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 50 g pecans, chopped


Method

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F. Line a 9” square pan with baking paper.

  • In a saucepan, add the butter and allow the milk solids to brown.

  • In a bowl, add the white chocolate and pour the browned butter on top.

  • Mix in the sugar and brown sugar.

  • Add the eggs and vanilla.

  • Fold in the flour, matcha powder, salt, and pecans.

  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan.

  • Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a skewer inserted is clean.
