Cinnamon Fingers


Ingredients

  • 18 pieces spring roll dough

  • 6 kiri cheese, each sliced into 3

  • date paste

  • 1 tbsp water

  • 1 tbsp flour

  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/4 cup sugar

Sauce

  • 1 can cream

  • 6 kiri cheese

  • 1/4 cup condensed milk

  • vanilla


Method

  • In a food processor, add the cream, kiri, condensed milk, and vanilla. Do not over-mix. Refrigerate.

  • Combine the flour and water and set aside.

  • Lay a sliced piece of kiri and pipe some of the date paste on a spring roll piece.

  • Roll the dough and secure the ends by brushing some of the flour and water mixture.

  • Fry the fingers in oil until golden.

  • Remove from the oil and add them into a bowl with cinnamon and sugar.

  • Toss until the sugar has coated the fingers.

  • Serve with the chilled sauce.
