Chocolate Tahini Cookies
Decadent and chewy chocolate cookies with a nutty tahini touch
Ingredients
100g semi-sweet chocolate chips
50 g butter
1 1/2 tbsp tahini
1/3 cup sugar
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 egg
vanilla
1/3 cup flour
1 tbsp cocoa powder
1/2 tsp baking powder
pinch of salt
sesame seeds
Method
Preheat the oven at 170°C/325°F.
In a bowl, melt the chocolate and butter in the microwave. Mix until smooth. Set aside.
Whisk the egg, brown sugar, white sugar, vanilla, and tahini.
Once light and fluffy, add the melted chocolate. Combine.
Fold in the flour, baking powder, salt, and cocoa powder.
Scoop the dough using a tablespoon on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
Top with seasame seeds.
Bake for 10 minutes. Allow to cool completely.
