Chocolate Fondant

A classic lava like flowing chocolate cake.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips

  • 100 g butter

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 egg yolk

  • vanilla

  • 1/3 cup flour


Method

  • Preheat oven to 200°C/400°F.

  • Melt the chocolate and butter.

  • Whisk in powdered sugar.

  • Add the eggs and vanilla.

  • Add the flour and mix again.

  • Generously butter/spray four ramekins, and evenly fill with batter.

  • Bake for 15 minutes, the center should be soft.

  • Let cool for 2-3 minutes before inverting onto a plate.

  • Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
