Blondies

Chewy white chocolate brownies accentuated with pecans.


Ingredients

  • 200 g butter, melted

  • 200 g sugar

  • Pinch of salt

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 2 eggs

  • 300 g flour

  • ½ tsp baking soda

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 200 g white chocolate, chopped

  • 100 g pecans


Method

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C.

  • Line an 9 x 9 tin with baking paper.

  • In a bowl, whisk the sugar and butter.

  • Add the eggs and vanilla to the mixture and whisk again.

  • Add the baking soda, baking powder, salt, and flour.

  • Using a spatula, fold the chopped chocolate and pecans into the mixture.

  • Spread the batter into the tin evenly.

  • Bake in the oven for 35-40 minutes.

  • Let the blondies cool for 10 mins before slicing.
