Almond Bar
Delicious crunchy bars. The choice of chocolate is yours, but using dark chocolate will make it entirely healthy and vegan. I’ve used milk for some sweetness.
Ingredients
1½ cup almonds
½ cup rice cereal
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ cup pure maple syrup
milk chocolate, topping
Method
Preheat oven to 325°F. Line a 10 * 2" loaf pan with parchment paper. Set aside.
Add almonds, cereal, salt, and maple syrup fold until well incorporated.
Pour this mixture into the prepared pan. Smooth into a tightly packed layer. Bake for 30-40 minutes.
Slice into 6 bars.
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Melt the chocolate and dip the bottom of the bar into the melted chocolate, scraping off excess and place it on the parchment paper.
Drizzle the bars with the rest of the chocolate.
Sprinkle some salt over the bars.
Place the bars into the fridge until firm.
