Red Velvet Cookies

These appetizing cookies also make the process easier by being baked without chilling.

Ingredients

  • 200g butter

  • 150g caster sugar

  • 50g brown sugar

  • 1 egg

  • 300g self-raising flour

  • 25g cocoa powder

  • 250g white chocolate

  • 100g semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • vanilla

  • red food coloring


Method

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C.

  • Place butter, sugar, food coloring, and vanilla in a mixing bowl and beat until smooth.

  • Add the egg to the mixture.

  • Add the flour and cocoa powder.

  • Fold in the chopped white chocolate and chocolate chips.

  • Using an ice cream scooper, scoop the dough on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake for 10 - 12 minutes.
