Magic Bar
Gooey coconut, chocolate decadence, crunchy nuts, and a biscuit crust.
Note: you can add caramel, fudge, or white chocolate as one of the layers.
Ingredients
½ cup unsalted butter
¼ cup brown sugar
2 cups ground biscuits
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup shredded coconut
¼ cup water
¾ cup pecans
1 cup sweetened condensed milk
Method
Preheat oven to 350°F/180°C and line an 22cm square baking pan.
Combine the biscuits, butter, and sugar and press evenly in the pan.
Combine the coconut and water.
In layers, alternate the chocolate chips, coconut, and pecans.
Evenly pour the sweetened condensed milk over the top.
Bake for 30 minutes or until the coconut is lightly browned. Cool completely before cutting.
