Magic Bar

Gooey coconut, chocolate decadence, crunchy nuts, and a biscuit crust.

Note: you can add caramel, fudge, or white chocolate as one of the layers.


Ingredients

  • ½  cup unsalted butter

  • ¼ cup brown sugar

  • 2 cups ground biscuits

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 1 cup shredded coconut

  • ¼ cup water

  • ¾ cup pecans

  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk


Method

  • Preheat oven to 350°F/180°C and line an 22cm square baking pan.

  • Combine the biscuits, butter, and sugar and press evenly in the pan.

  • Combine the coconut and water.

  • In layers, alternate the chocolate chips, coconut, and pecans.

  • Evenly pour the sweetened condensed milk over the top.

  • Bake for 30 minutes or until the coconut is lightly browned. Cool completely before cutting.
