Brownies

The perfect brownie texture: chewy yet fudgy.


Ingredients

  • 275g semi sweet chocolate chips

  • 100g butter

  • ½ cup brown sugar

  • 1 cup white sugar

  • 3 eggs

  • ¼ cup cocoa powder

  • ½ cup + 2 tbsp flour

  • ¼ tsp salt

  • ½ tbsp of coffee


Method

  • Preheat the oven to 180C.

  • Butter a 9 * 9 in square pan and line it with baking paper.

  • In the microwave melt the butter and 175g of the chocolate.

  • Whisk in the white and brown sugar to cool the mixture down.

  • Then whisk the eggs in quickly.

  • Fold in the flour, cocoa powder, coffee, and salt.

  • Fold in the rest of the chocolate (around 100g).

  • Pour the batter into the pan and bake for 30-35 min.
