Brown Butter Peach Cake
Ingredients

50 grams butter, browned
1/3 cup brown sugar
1-2 peaches
Cake
50 g butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
vanilla
1 egg
1/3 cup water
1 cup flour
1/2 tbsp baking powder
Method
Preheat the oven to 350°F/180°C. Butter and line a round 9 in pan with baking paper.
Cream the butter and sugar. Add the egg and vanilla.
Mix in the flour, baking powder, and water.
In a saucepan, brown the butter and mix in the brown sugar. Pour over the prepared pan.
Slice the peaches and place them on the prepared topping.
Pour the cake batter on top of the sliced peaches.
Bake for 25-30 minutes. Allow to cool for 15-20 minutes before flipping and serving.
